TheSaint John's Bible is the first completely handwritten and illuminated Bible to have been commissioned by a Benedictine Abbey since the invention of the printing press in the 1400s. The Saint John's Bible wascreated at Saint John's Abbey and University in Collegeville, Minnesota between 1998 and 2011.
